I have wondered what to say
Crashing emotions
heart felt notions
Will I still feel the same years from today?
slowlythis poem does not begin at all like you did,
because your name is summer
and you bloomed late this year.
you crept up like the color green
and filled me with the scent of milkweed
and flowers.

you radiate and i capture,
you shine and i reflect,
you sun and i skin.
that's the way it always has been.

because you crept up like the morning,
darkest, darker, dark and then all at once it is light,
like the hills turning in autumn.
your exposition is slow
but ever so enticing
and tantalizingly violent.

you are the kisses in summer
and the goosebumps in december;
you are everything from may to october,
and your crazy makes so much more sense th
please get here soonthe time of night when im happy i can breathe.
she is stuck in my mind like hot tar on the pavement
just the anticipation is intoxicating.
the warmth in my heart is so satisfying,
the buzz in my skull, it makes me see why i love life
i can see why i havent hung myself,
this night, is shaping up to be an incredible one.
maybe we could lay on the grass.
watch the stars flow across the heavens above
have the walls painted with light and laughter from a movie
arms full of that one other person.
eyes matching, lips soft and warm.
hugs that will enchant the entire night,
a moon that will fill the sky for eternity and more.

I went to your house thinking to say hi

I knocked at your door but I got no reply

I was quiet shocked

When I opened it and learned that it wasn’t locked

I called your name but I got no answer

And on the table I found a letter

I just checked it, out of curiosity

And learned that it was addressed to me

I read it and it made me pretty angry

So you decided to go on a journey?

And just left a letter for me

She was his world.

When she left him,
I was there for him.

When he left me,
Without a word,
I texted him
Until his inbox was full
With all the words
I've said before and
All the words I didn't.
Then he came back.

I hugged him.
She kissed him.
"She" was his other bestfriend.
The one he had apparently dreamed of
Every night.
The one that cried over him being gone
Every night.
The one he dreamed he almost kissed.
I never tell him he's in mine too.

He stands up for me.
